Pelosi Pets Her 5th District Lapdog

From the Washington Post: “Moments before the vote, Pelosi and a host of senior Democrats gathered around Rep. Tom Perriello (D-Va.) in the back of the chamber, shaking his hand and slapping him on the back with broad smiles. Elected last year in a solidly conservative district, the son of a country doctor was about to support a bill that is not considered popular in southwestern Virginia. It was another very tough vote for a freshman who now has perhaps the largest political bull’s-eye on his back from the national Republican Party. “

Tom should bask in his glory while he can because that bull’s eye will be the size of the 5th come next November. The only areas that Tom will win are Charlottesville and maybe Danville, he will lose the rest of the district. Tom ignored the majority of his constituents and lied to the people, this will cost him dearly. It is a good thing that he voted to extend unemployment benefits because he will need them next year.

If he doesn’t want to collect unemployment Mr. Perriello can always go back to work for his mentor George Soros, a gentlemen that has supported his campaign from the beginning. Better yet maybe he should go back to school and spend some time studying the document that he is always so ready to ignore. He must have slept through his constitutional law classes or studied under a very confused professor because he sure doesn’t get it.

    In my gut I knew Tom would sell us out. But I feel good knowing that he and his legislative counsel Ericke, admitted that the claim of being able to keep your insurance if you like it, is simply a lie.

    I don’t regret the hard work that we have all put into trying to sway his vote. I view it as practice. We are now quite organized and willing to do what we need in ousting little tommy pelosi.

    Largest bulls-eye on his back from the Republican Party? LOL The people he supposedly represents won’t leave as much as a 6 piece Chicken McNuggets for the national party to get hold of. Figuratively speaking, of course.

    This kid ruined any chance of going another term. Pelosi was simply back slapping Tommy to make sure the sword he was falling on went deep enough.
