IMHO- both of you are right and wrong. Feda got those endorsements because the two knew her and she had supported them in the past. Pure payback. Not a reason that the endorsements mean anything other than that. Should the two think they should be listened to in the fifth where neither has ventured in quite some time,probably not.

Have either of you really vetted Feda's voting record on the School Board ? NO.
Boyer clearly has not vetted all the candidates,yet he has endorsed. Blue Ridge has not vetted all and he has endorsed. For Boyer to even mention the word demagogue is a joke as it is what he practices almost every time he posts.

The main problem I have with this endorsement is that they back one person without even considering the rest of the field. If they were truly looking out for the district they would have interviewed the other candidates before making their decision. Right now to me it looks like someone endorsing a friend or associate. The least they could have done was make an attempt at an impartial decision as opposed to backing an old cohort without any consideration of the others.

One note;
Blackwell and Terry are two of the RNC members who opposed Michael Steel, because they saw him as the RINO that he is.
They supported the true conservative Ken Blackwell, though it cost them in curb appeal to the moderate establishment leadership.

They have a long record of being two of the most vocal proponents of moving the party back to Reaganism and Constitutional principle.

As with any organization, there are always real and honest members, and Blackwell and Terry are two of them.

The NRCC and the RNC are two separate entities, and the NRCC that wants Robert Hurt was the one that wanted Scozzafava.
Blackwell and Terry strongly opposed Scozzafava though as RNC members they had no direct ability to influence the outcome.
No, their endorsement shows that Morton has the support of the conservative wing of the national leadership, and I think that is a good thing.

The battle lines are clearly drawn even at the national level and Morton is on the right side, as are Blackwell and Terry, as they are doing this in spite of the NRCC's wishes.

I would be careful not to demagogue an endorsement such as this without all the facts at your disposal.
