How Many RINOS Can The Same Bed Hold?

Yesterday Robert Hurt came out with his fund raising numbers, although for some reason he has not released detailed information, notandysere has an interesting take on this. Today in the Danville Paper an article mentions U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor’s support of Hurt to the tune of $7,000, $5,000 from his PAC and another $2,000 from his campaign, this must be the grassroots support that Hurt’s people were talking about.

Let’s look at the type of people Cantor supports, there is the liberal Jeff McWaters in Virginia Beach who supports nationalized health care and thinks health care is a right, Dede Scozzafava in NY 23 who supports abortion, government health care, the stimulus bill and after dropping out of the race endorsed the Democrat opponent and of course there is Robert Hurt who hasn’t seen a tax increase he doesn’t like. This is the same Eric Cantor who voted on the unconstitutional AIG Bonus tax, otherwise known as a bill of attainder, see article 1 section 9 of the constitution.

It seems to me the good old boy club is alive and well in Washington, the apparent goal of this club is to maintain power and selectively allow new members to join after having paid their “dues”. This is the same club that has led this nation into the mess it is now in. My prediction is that unless this system of promoting from within the club changes the Republicans will regain power once again for a short while just like in the nineties. They will once again blow it because they have put in the same useless candidates and the Democrats will come back stronger then ever and that will herald the end of the Republic as we know it. This is a cycle that has gone on for generations, we slide down towards socialism then we come back up but not far enough. This cycle repeats itself with each dip toward the bottom getting continuously lower and the corresponding rise getting lower as well, until someday we will be like our European allies, God forbid.

This year we have the opportunity in the 5th district to break this cycle there are several new and refreshing candidates that would help bring in a new era in DC, Hurt is not one of those candidates. Let’s stop the insanity.

Eric Cantor has stated he won’t repeal the healthcare bill if it goes thru.

He does think changes need to be made.

The change that needs to be made: CANTOR NEEDS TO GO! And we should not, under any circumstances, vote for anyone he supports.

      Good post BRG!

      Thanks for the link Paige.

“Politico has also reported that House Minority Whip Eric Cantor said Republicans would only demand a “partial repeal” if they retake control of Congress.”

Partial repeal? What percentage of the bill does he want to keep? Sheesh!

So we are attacking Robert Hurt because he took money from one of the most influential republicans in the nation. This is such a joke. Every candidate running for the nomination would have taken this money!! If Verga would have had the opportunity he would have taken the money and used it to buy appearances with Bristol Palin!

Cantor needs to stay the h— out of the 5th District race. And, Cantor needs to go! Vote him OUT. From a life long, conservative Republican!
